I picked up my new/used 55-250 mm lens today. So far it seems like a great lens. I was a little blown away by how little light it picks up when zoomed all the way to 250mm. When there is enough light the images and nice and crisp. I now have a nice complement of lens with a 18-55 mm, 50 mm f/1.8 prime lens, and the newly acquired 55-250 mm. Hopefully this weekend I'll get a chance to get out and see how close 250 mm can get.
