Today was the first time I really got a chance to try out the new 55-250 mm lens. It was great finally being able to photograph things that were farther away.

I got a couple pictures of what I think is a Red-tailed Hawk. I'm not used to shooting moving objects so I missed focus pretty badly when he flew overhead.

I took a few shots of another bird that landed right next to me. Not sure what type of bird it is.

I'll include a couple of other pictures I thought were interesting including a Diwali decoration I found near my apartment.
